NW Golds living in Asia have free WC membership and therefore can enter KLM lounges. Once you are NW Plat you become ST Elite Plus and then any international trip (inter-Europe is ok) and can enter lounges then as well....
But doesn't sound like you'll be able to get in...plus the KLM lounge lizards are very unfriendly and strict from my experience.
