Of course it's safe in Japan! It's safe in the U.S., too, but the government wants people to believe that thousands of terrorists are lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce on us. All of this "security" machinery is designed to keep the population frightened. Unfortunately, it's succeeding all too well.
