Getting ready for our stay starting on December 26 and can see the hotel has prebooked and changed the room type to " 2 double beds superior rm". Before the past couple of days, it did not specify. As one who is thankful for getting in on the great pointstretcher award (thanks again Sabrina), I really didn't expect an upgrade and it looks like they're not planning to give me one either. From this thread, it looks like maybe half a dozen of us got in on the same deal in the week after Christmas. I'm hopeful that we will not be treated any different due to our good fortune in booking discounted award space during their busiest time of the year. I wonder what that little glitch cost the hotel?
