As usual, you guys are quick to jump to conclusions and blame the TSA for a perfectly rational security procedure.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the snowstorm was not caused by the weather, but by terrorists? They could have bought a snowmaking machine, flown it up really high and dumped dozens of feet of snow on Denver, thus shutting down the airport. Then, one of their operatives, under the guise of "being helpful," would sneak in explosives in water bottles that had been secretly processed by an Al Queda front, operating as a bottling operation. Voila! Explosives beyond the checkpoint.

Seriously, before you guys criticize, please take a few minutes to think about it from the TSA's point of view. I'm sure a few people were inconvenienced by not having food or water, but that's the price we pay for security in these troubled times. As Mad-Eye Moody would say, "Eternal Vigilance."
