When going, you have to add 24 when you cross the line. When returning, you subtract 24 when you cross the line.
Seriously. These straight up Asia flights are nothing.
The Australia flights are even more messed up (leave p.m., arrive 2 days later).
And there are a handful of flights that actually land the previous day (e.g., AC SYD-HNL and CO GUM-HNL). Those can really mess you up.
