If you price is $785 for the two of you, it is a very good price, and you are not apt to beat it. If, however, it is $785 each, you can do a little better by separating your flights by segment: Phoenix to Minneapolis, then Minneapolis to Brainerd, as long as you do it soon. I priced this for July 5-12 at a total of $1353 -- still not great, but it is hard to get good fares to palces like Brainerd. If you can drive, then renting a car in Minneapolis and driving to Brainerd would also save you lots of money -- the price on NWA from Phoenis to MSp was $422, and I bet you can beat that on another airline.

Just priced the trip on Orbitz, and found it for $998 for two. Intersting that this price, for same dates, did not show up on NWA site.
