With the change of ingredients in most OTC sinus/flu/cold medications recently, I make sure to buy the one from behind the pharmacy counter & not out on the aisles. The ones behind the counter are the 'old' formula and have always worked better for me.
Also, as Hangpilot mentioned -- Nasonex/Afrin helped a lot too.
