Bad Experience at Delta's DCA
Dear Delta,
I was very displeased with your staff at the check-in counter of DCA, and this was my first time flying Delta. I flew from DCA-JFK that day in the afternoon. The staff who checked me in (her last name is "Kang") was muttering about a passenger she had just served before me to another staff member. She did not even bother to ask for my travel document, and simply looked at me as though I demanded something from her. She also asked for my address, which I gave on a piece of paper - her suggestion - but immediately turned it away and continuously demanded for a driver's license when I repeatedly told her I didn't have one. This was very unprofessionally handled. She even threatened to not let me on this flight, since I "couldn't lift my bag upright for it to be weighed." That luggage was a duffel bag, which a lot of passengers carry for travel on a daily basis. This matter is common and should've been handled better.
The situation was even worse, since the line for Economy was really long when there was virtually no one in the First Class line. Note that there were two counters open for each First Class and each Economy, which was very insufficient. There was even a passenger who went up to the supervisor to complaing about this, but she was doing nothing to remedy the situation. There were passengers on earlier flights that mine, which obviously didn't help them at all since there were only 2 counters for Economy Delta flying to all destinations.
I certainly am very disappointed as I had to wait for about one hour to check-in. I hope the necessary steps or actions can be made for an improvement.

I have a question: Is it always THIS bad at DCA?
