That speculation makes a lot more sense than iahphx's surmise in the previous post, but that probably won't actually happen either .

By the way, since this entire thread is filled with enough speculation to cover every square inch of the planet, I'll try one.

Reliable sources tell me that iahphx is actually Doug Parker himself, and since he doesn't know the first thing about running an airline, he spends all his time answering all these missives. Furthermore, it will come as a shock to many of you that before his facelift, that Parker (iahphx) was/is actually Leo Mullin.

This merger won't happen and I'd bet iahphx wouldn't put up a substantial amount of money guaranteeing that it will.
