I saw a story on the (I think) ABC news last night about delays and cancellations. True, the main story was about the Denver area, but the story following it was about the pax at SEA.

In the story, they mentioned that almost all UA flights from SEA go to DEN.

True, most FTer's would know delays in MSP would affect NW mostly, delays in CLT would affect US mostly, or SLC would affect DL mostly, but "the average person" in TPA or SUX may not know. Also, they may not know the XCLed flights in DEN may affect their flight from MCO-JFK or LAX-SFO! ("We are not flying to DEN, or anywhere near it! Besides, it's sunny and 80, so why is the flight cancelled? ")
