I programmed the BA Silver number into my mobile phone years and years ago...

Couldn't understand why it took ages and ages to get through (and why when I dipped to Blue for a year they never cared I was calling the Silver line!). Turns out the old number just goes through to regular BA reservations.

So - make sure you have the number on your current card programmed into your phone - not an old one...
