Can posters please make their thread titles more descriptive?

I've noticed that thread titles are becoming more and more vague. A thread entitled "PVG/ORD" or "Online Check-in" means nothing and forces us to open the thread only to find out, many times, that it's an un-interesting topic to us. (Perhaps that's the point behind the vague titles? ) Okay, I guess we're not literally "forced" to do anything, but more descriptive titles would go a long way in making FT a more useful tool and more pleasant environment, especially when using the search function, in which case we are looking for very specific answers.

After all, wouldn't most here prefer to read "PVG/ORD Will Be Cancelled Tomorrow" or "Online Check-In Now Allows You To Check-In Your Pet Monkey As Well" instead of the more generic titles above?

PS: I suppose this thread is valid across all FT forums, but I posted it here, because this is where I spend most of my time and I didn't know where it would do the most good.
