From PC Mag.:
We tested the WTR54GS with a pair of Speedbooster-capable Linksys WPC54GS client cards. Overall, we were somewhat disappointed with the performance as compared with its award-winning sibling, the WRT54GS. At distances of 1 and 10 feet, throughput ranged from 23.4 to 23.8 Mbps. At 60 feet, it trailed off to 10.4 Mbps, then went down to 2.9 Mbps at 90 feet. We were unable to establish a connection at 100 feet. Still, the coverage is adequate for a router that's likely to see use only within a hotel room. And although its wireless performance at a distance wasn't what we'd wish, the unique features—a built-in power supply and wired LAN port—makes the WTR54GS an option worth considering.
