Just be careful on the reverse. I didn't realize that the GUM-HNL flight arrives (-1) day behind, thus the connecting flight reservation must be made for one day behind. CO.com couldn't check the trip logic but it definitely made the ticketing happen. In the end, I was forced to overnight in HNL at a horrible hotel. Normally, it would be fine, but definitely not without clothing and toiletteries. There was no way to retrieve my bags b'cos they've already been loaded onto LAX by the ground crew; however, the res systems says I'm overnighting when I wasn't.
Crossing the Dateline does create problems on this route. I leave DPS Sunday evening to arrive in GUM Monday morning, arrive in HNL late Sunday afternoon to arrive in IAH Monday morning.

If the jet lag doen't get you the Dateline will.
