We flew TED a few times in the last month and I found E+ on the A32s to be quite comfortable. We sat in no particular area, mainly in the first 6 rows.

I have read of TED/mainline swaps (usually a TED plane for a mainline route) but haven't experienced one. No reason why things can't go the other way....

I'd just book row 6 if possible and leave it at that. BTW, although the equipment does clog up the overheads over the first few rows of E+ on the TED planes, I had no issues storing right behind, due to boarding first. But it is something to consider if you have a good-sized rollaboard. No issues on the other Airbus a/c.
