What to do? Transfer to airline? Get a personal Amex card to buy time? What is the cheapest personal Amex Total Cost of Ownership? Right now I pay $75 a year for the privilege of earning MR points on my corporate cards. I have two other Amex cards but they are Starwood and Hilton, none linked to MR program.
I don't understand. You've paid $75 for a year's worth of participation in MR why would AMEX want more $$ from your company? Would you get refunded a prorated amount of the $75?

You could use the points for dining certs for restaurants like Flemings Steakhouse, Roy's, etc.
