More domestic "heavies"! Why is that so hard for the carriers to understand? Unfortunately (for me), NW has no 767s, and is retiring the DC-10s... and you know they could fill DTW-LAS, DTW-MCO, DTW-LAX, etc. And here they are, retiring the DC-10s.
What's NW going to do when they retire the DC-10s, and they have charters and/or special events (such as the SuperBowl)? Will they keep some DC-10s operational for such things, use 330s and/or 747s, or just increase flight count?
DL still flies the 767s, and they're a blast. UA flies the 747 domestic. Better get your tickets while you can.
