Quick question about PHX...

On Thursday, 21 December, I am going:

DCA-PHX - HP 656 - Depart 4:38 PM - Arrive PHX 7:45 PM
PHX - SLC - HP 454 - Depart 8:30 PM - Arrive SLC 10:10 PM

Is this enough time? I was able to book this flight - booked it on Sunday - so I assume it is a valid connection. Nevertheless, I just looked up HP 656 today, and I see that it won't get it until approx. 8:40 PM. Ahh! I hope that does not happen on Thursday.
