Connecting between terminals at ORD

Does anyone have experience connecting at ORD onto a BA flight back to the UK?
Thinking of taking the 13:13 AA flight from PSP to ORD arrving at 19:00 at Terminal 3. Transferring to the 20:20 BA flight from ORD to LHR which leaves from Terminal 5. Is this an acceptable connection time? It is the last flight out of ORD so we need to make the connection.

It would appear that AA domestic conections to AA international flights also require the switch from T3 to T5 so it should be a common enough situation.

We should be able to interline the bags given both are OW airlines. So it is really just getting ourselves from one terminal to another. Undertaken you have to take a tram between terminals ?

I suppose the other issue I have is that night flights from ORD flight to LHR are sleeper service, so we are not likely to have sufficient time to eat in the lounge beforehand. The alternative is catching a 7am flight from PSP via DFW which I am not too keen on
