I would possibly even volunteer if they made a request over the PA, maybe even to a center seat. Even if it were the result of poor planning (not everyone has experience with air travel, especially with kids.) However, being ordered by the person (not even a please), would have made me much less accommodating. I probably would have flatly told her "if you asked me nicely, I probably would have. But I am not going to be rudely ordered out of my seat". If she were simply frazzled by the ordeal and had any sense of decorum, she would probably apologize and contritely and sincerely ask if I could help her. If I felt she was sincere, I probably would. If she didn't respond this way, she could go pound dirt.
