Company Removing Membership Rewards Benefit from Corp Card

So I just got an email that my company drove such a hard-nosed deal with Amex that Amex demanded the company foot the bill for MR participation by employees, which they naturally refused to do. Effective mid Feb we will not earn points and we have 30 days beyond that to redeem our points unless we have a personal Amex card tied to MR.

What to do? Transfer to airline? Get a personal Amex card to buy time? What is the cheapest personal Amex Total Cost of Ownership? Right now I pay $75 a year for the privilege of earning MR points on my corporate cards. I have two other Amex cards but they are Starwood and Hilton, none linked to MR program.
