With recent flights right at our year ends for my partner and me, it looks like QF has got smarter. The year allocation of SCs now seems to depend exclusively on the departure date of the flight, even if it posts several days after the start of the new year. If it does post late, there now a mark against the entry and a special footnote on the statement saying "Ha, you thought you might get these in your new year but we're cleverer than you think!"
