I had to pay an "A" fare for a return flight from LGA to TPA on the Friday before Christmas. All the cheaper fare buckets were sold out. The A fare entitled me to a first class seat. My question is does it get me into the club before the flight.

I called Delta but my call was handled by the India call center. After 10 minutes of trying to explain this simple question they referred my call to the Gold Medalion center. They must not understand English either because they kept trying to sell me a membership.

All I wanted to know was the following: "Does my "A" fare get me a free visit to the CRC?"

Also out of curiosity, is Delta's policy on this consistent with other airlines?
