How often does a GOLD ELITE member get upgraded?

And, On a typical day… What is NW Domestic First Class compared to American or US AIRWAYS?

Prior to March 1st I used to get upgraded 98% of the time on US AIRWAYS (as a Chairman's Preferred). And since UA policies have taken effect… now only 50% of the time (in March and April). Too bad, I rather liked the US AIRWAYS First Class product.
