BA customers, the next generation

Just read Pucci's latest feedback, many thank for the info Pucci.

Just a quick tale that recently brought me back to reality:

Have flown Club for the past 3 years to Florida with Mrs GBA & the 2 kids, with all the miles I have earned and good experiences, I thought I would try something special for 2007, as its Mrs GBS 40th!

Got Club to Miami, and First home...FAB I thought, but as I also used an Amex voucher the PNR is split, Mrs GBA & moi are sorted, but kids cannot get pre-allocated seats except in First. OK under the current policy.

My son was looking at the booking (he is 8) and asked why we had not allocated seats for him and his sister.
I explained we couldnt do it yet, and he simply asked "Well, why dont we just fly Virgin instead its only 9 hours"

This really gave my senses a jolt, and have now decided (as we live in Manchester) that we will use VS direct after this birthday trip for the Mrs.

I know its not an option for some corporate travellers, but as I can choose my airline for business and pleasure, then I for 1 am now using all my miles and kissing BA a fond farewell.....thanks to my 8yr old son.
