Sitges Carnaval with Six Year Old Boy - Great Idea or Terrible Idea?
The title basically asks the question. I am thinking of taking advantage of those low dead of winter trans-Atlantic fares and taking my five-year old to Barcelona and the Sitges Carnaval, which coincides fairly well with the Presidents' Day week break at my son's school. I am reasonably familiar with Barcelona that time of year, and know what to expect there.
How about the Carnaval? Will the crowds be too oppressive? Will he be the only similarly aged kid there? My experience with Spain is that kids seem to be included in many more activities than in the US. Is it overall a good or a bad idea (I figure if the Carnaval does turn out to be too much we can just hang in Barcelona, I plan to stay in Barcelona and take the train to Sitges.)
OK, one step further - if anyone is familiar with the Carnaval, any idea which particular activities-events might be most fun for a six year old?
