This is odd, as I have had many long range reservations where minor adjustments occured to flight times, yet never had a seat assignment changed or lost. I was surprised to find out it was happening, based on the evidence from many of you posting, but it has never been my experience in flying a LOT of miles with AA. Wonder if there are other factors involved here in how the system behaves?
