I just received a mailing from CO giving (yes giving me) a trial membership in their Silver Elite Program.

This offer also includes 2 passes (for me and guest per pass) to the President's Club.

I get all flight bonuses, upgrades etc that a full Silver Elite member would be offered. Even better, instead of requiring the 25,000 miles/year I simply have to travel 2 round trip fares and EARN the Silver Elite status.

Anyone else get this?!? Reading the fine print, it appears I can only use it on CO and CO Exp. flight...no NWA. Anyone have any ideas?

If I can't use NWA, it becomes pretty pointless as I fly out of DTW.

Anyone know for sure?
