When I flew to the LJU do in October on a *A carrier, my bag didn't arrive on my flight. When the carousel started up a man with a clipboard list approached the area and announced two names. One was mine. Before the bags started down the chute we were directed to the baggage office to fill out the form telling them where we would be. It was wonderful.
Granted LJU is a small airport, but since the airline already knows the bag isn't on the plane why can't they just display that information in the luggage area on a screen. The don't have to send a person, a simple notice saying, head to the baggage office would work.
