I suspect that they most likely will, just as the as the increase in the number of check-in machines led to a corresponding decrease in the number of desks. The statement that transfer pax "will then also be able to connect with a KLM call center" does not exactly imply that manned desks will be anywhere near the machines.
The check-in machines, by the way, are great, but OLCI is even better.
