Airports appear and disappear from these lists when they gain or lose commercial passenger service, and that happens surprisingly often-- TEB, ILG, BFI, CGX, PMD... I think that's especially the case when you try to include ground connections (where's my ZVE?). On top of that the name or city association can be misleading (e.g. MHT or HHN). For comprehensiveness, I think world-airport-codes.com is hard to beat. And for accuracy, check against a few results in Google.
