Air NZ must 'move faster, be more nimble'
Air New Zealand is likely to face increased competition after Qantas agreed to a takeover deal by a consortium of private equity firms.
The consortium led by Macquarie Bank and United States private equity firm Texas Pacific Group will pay $A5.60 ($NZ6.34) a share, valuing the airline at $A11.1 billion.
