Hi Guys,

Well my current DONE4 has me stuck in JNB on a waitlist to SYD that looks less and less likely to come off. So to cut a long story short and seeing as I have to come back to JNB in 3 months anyway I've asked the TA to book me a new DONE5 originating in JNB and getting me to Aus via HKG.
The proposed route is JNB-HKG-PER-SYD-LAX-JFK-LHR-HEL-LHR-JNB. So, ignoring the appalling lack of the available sectors (which hopefully I'll fix down the track), and given the extremely short notice can anyone answer the following:

1) Can I buy a ticket for travel to commence in under 7 days if it originates in South Africa. (My TA thought not but now she thinks in some areas it may be as little as 1hr, she's trying to confirm with CX Australia which to me seems fraught with potential misinformation)

2) I'm in London till Friday 7pm and then in JNB for only Saturday and Sunday if this comes off. So (if I require a paper ticket) how do I practically collect the ticket given that JNB city office won't be open. Can I got to the CX office and have it issued in London tomorrow??

3) Having come through HKG on the above itinerary have I written off any further entries into Asia? Or do I get away with some "transit" rule becuase I'm in HKG for less than 24hrs. eg could I at some later date ammend the itinerary to be PER-HKG-NRT-LAX.......
