I'm having a hard time understanding how one qualifies for PPS initially. I'm based in SIN, am *G on UA and will probably fly a fair # of SQ around the region in J. I'd like to put the miles on UA, but qualify for PPS. I understand there is a way to qualify for PPS via sectors, that would probably be how I did it. I havent yet even signed up for a SQ FF account, when I do that, how do I compute how many sectors I would get (flights would primarily be SIN-DEL, SIN-BOM, SIN-ICN, SIN-NRT, SIN-SYD, SIN-PEK) and what is the qualification period?
