- higher priority in SQ/MI waitlist (often clears as PPS when it wouldn't as *G even KF Elite Gold)
- guaranteed economy seat if waitlisted first or business
- preferred seating (eg 17AC on 747)
- use of SKL when flying economy (and first side of SKL when flying Raffles or if Solitaire), or even another airline
