I arrived here in Buenos Aires on 12.28 from JFK without any incident. Since here there was a riot the night I arrived and the resignation of the president two nights ago. But all is FINE. Have not been affected one bit (my friend saw the throng of rioters at Avenida de Mayo heading to the Casa Rosada with their pots and pans but he thought it was just an early new yearŽs celebration). The portenos are great and their protests are against the government and not directed at tourists (especially Canadians!). So come if youŽre planning on it, youŽll have a great time.
