I booked a Star C US-South Asia award ticket for my friend travelling next April.

She is flying SIN-NRT-ORD on ANA C and ORD-LGA-ORD-LAX on UA Y/F, and LAX-TPE-SIN on SQ C.

I called today to pay the taxes $40 and was prepared to go to ORD to sign the bluey sometime in January.

1K agent in DTWRR told me I do not need to sign the bluey and she will mail me a paper ticket.

I never heard about this. Anyone else has this experience?
