I'm assuming it's fine, but just wanted to double check with the Flyertalk Brain Trust. I did a search on here and found you can enter Canada with an expired one, so it only seems OK that it will work as valid photo ID within the country.

I am travelling to Vancouver tomorrow from Toronto, and my valid passport is at an embassy until next week. I don't have a driver's license so it's my only photo identification...
