As the others have said The LM (the former Hyatt Regency) is the best way to go, even if you didnt care about SPG.

As for getting there either drive there via heading to Jerusalem and just before you get to the Main Entrance on the Hway theres an exit (I dont know what is written on the sign maybe Malei Adumin or Dead Sea or Ramot or Begin North but thats the best way , then folow the signs for Dead Sea or Malei Adumin

or you can go with Egged The reg bus company, dont know if tehy have non-stops you'd probbaly hav eto go to Jerusalem and connect from there.
