If you (Gold) and Partner (non-Gold) travel together then you can sit in the Gold seats but your partner will be seated elsewhere. This has the advantage of increasing loyalty for Golds as if they can only get the best seats if travelling alone. If travelling with a partner and you want to sit together then effectively you only have the same stating choice as a Blue.
If you (Gold), partner and children want to sit together, forget it. (Does this sound a bit like Ryanair?)
So, we'll be seeing front row full of golds, and then the back half of J full of partners and children
So, on your point above, what would happen if I assigned my wife (blue) into row 10 with me? When would she be moved?
