I don't think so but, as an example, I have a flight this Saturday, with the wife on my PNR. If I log in I can see row 10 (front of J cabin on a 777) which I would assume is held back for golds, and I can move myself or her there.

Log in as the wife (blue) and I can see exactly the same seat availability.

Have 2 x latitude jnrs (blue) also booked, but on separate (but allegedly) linked PNRs. Log in as either of them and no changes are allowed.

Does this help in any way?
