Last time I flew vie LAX back in September they had just started to refurbish the lounge, and were using a temporary one. so I believe by now the lounge should be refurbished, and hopefully not as horrid.
Haven't heard any feedback though on FT yet so maybe someone here can report what the lounge is like now?
