Even a JR East pass (green one no less) is not really worth it if you are only going to be in Tokyo/Yokohama.
A roundtrip by Green Car from Narita Airport to Yokohama rings up around 11340, a Kamakura free Kippu costs 1130 from Yokohama Station, plus a week of travel on short distance between Yokohama-Tokyo and within each city you're not going to spend no more than 16000 on the trip for Tokyo/Yokohama. At a cost of 28000yen , you probably lost out on about 12000yen by getting the JR East Pass. In my opinion a bit too much on the savings for convienence.
Edit: I misread you got a regular JR East Pass instead of a green one, though still about a 4000+ yen loss in just JR travel alone.
