I also had a small amount of points credited for a phone call.
In my case it was 3 points for an overnight stay at Holiday Inn Narita (the stay was booked using award points)
I made a local call to the JAL desk at the airport to inquire about the rescheduling of a cancelled flight.
The local call cost 21 yen.
