I will enjoy SE status again in 2007 and burn off most of the Aeroplan points I've accrued over the last few years through reward redemption for myself.

Instant KK just lost a lot of its shine and so did SE status.

Requalification for SE in 2008 will no longer be a priority. Elite looks just fine for 2008 and ongoing.

My flying patterns will allow me more paid C/J/F flying in the Far East, Southern Asia, and Middle East in the next couple of years.

This will mean I'll be spreading my flying over more airlines, and probably diversify into some other programs. Probably Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, or Emirates.

I guess it's a bit of a relief to get off the treadmill. The constant program changes suggest that burning off points is the right thing to do now. Reward redemption levels are the only thing to change now.
