If I want to book a weekend jaunt to VCE from LGW, it appears I will not be able to book AC seats. So assuming the AC seats won't be filled with single Golds, it's a lottery at OLCI. Or worse, we can't change seats, and the best seats will be filled with £50 upgraders. And we will likely share a row of 3 with a £50 upgrader. This is absurd.
I would be better off buying 3 ET tickets, assigning us a decent row of 3, and have the middle seat person not show. This is absurd too.
