AUH-MCT is substantially longer (c.1 hour vs c.25 mins for BAH-DOH) but tends to be £100+ more expensive. On the flip side, you get to spend time in the UAE rather than Bahrain which may be more to your liking.

You get the TPs for all four sectors if you book LHR-BAH/AUH-LHR and BAH/AUH-DOH/MCT-BAH/AUH as seperate tickets.
