I know that the Traders is hardly considered 'luxury' - so note to the mods - if this thread belongs in another forum please move it accordingly.

Back to the topic -

Am attending a conference in Manila next week and the organizers have booked me in to a Traders Club room at the Traders Manila. Having previously always stayed at the Makati Shang - i don't recall ever visiting the Traders.

Does anyone have any first hand recent review of this place? All the reviews on the web (tripadvisor etc.) are quite dated. The Shang Website shows pictures that didn't really impress me at all.

I'm just wondering if i should suck it up and pay for my own room at the Makati Shang??
