I am among the lucky few who have enjoyed a blissful marital relationship that predates the internet, as we know it, by several decades, so no new spouse for me.

Having said that, however, I am very thrilled that I have had the tremendous pleasure of attending the wedding celebrations of four couples that I met on FlyerTalk, and have celebrated the births of lots of brand new FlyerTalk babies.
Sadly, over the years, I have also mourned the death of three good FlyerTalk friends, and commiserated in the dissolution of many primary relationships of way too many good FlyerTalk friends.
Our FlyerTalk community is just a sampling of the way life is in the 21st century. The biggest difference between now and 50 years ago, is that instead of making friends and finding lovers down the street, like we did in the '50s, today we can now find good, life-long, friends and lovers/permanent partners anywhere on our big blue mable, and that is a good thing.
One of my most amazing FlyerTalk experiences (and there are many) is the acquistion of an older brother, who has turned out to be
Hunki's favorite ski buddy, and who also presented us with a brand new grand-nephew last week.
Life with the internet is soooooooooooo good. ^
