The term ECONOMY/E has nothing to do with "E" class tickets. It is simply Air Canada's shorthand for writing ECONOMY/ECONOME in both English and French. I have found that Tango tickets (which your "E" class ticket was booked in) do not post automatically into Dividend Miles. In fact if you look at the mileage chart that you refer to, "E" class is not a mileage earning class with Dividend Miles. However, I have had good success in sending the boarding passes into Dividend Miles and getting the points posted.
